About the Role

We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team and take care of the company’s day-to-day accounting operations.

This role is ideal for a hands-on and autonomous professional who wants to grow within a dynamic and international scale-up environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of financial information, while actively contributing to the optimization and digitalization of accounting processes.

You will work in close coordination with the CFO, Treasury, and FP&A teams, while maintaining a high degree of independence in your day-to-day responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting processes, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).

• Take full ownership of supplier and customer cycles, ensuring proper recording and reconciliation.

• Perform and oversee bank reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets amortizations, and payroll postings.

• Prepare and ensure accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.

• Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready accounting records and documentation.

• Lead the preparation of audit documentation and act as a key point of contact for external auditors.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and Spanish tax regulations.

• Manage and support tax-related processes, including VAT (IVA), SII reporting, and basic Corporate Tax (IS) concepts.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data.

• Actively contribute to the improvement, automation, and digitalization of accounting processes and systems (ERP).

Required Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 3–6 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.

• Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in accounting principles and end-to-end financial processes (AP, AR, GL), with the ability to work autonomously.

• Proven experience in Spanish tax environment (VAT, SII, and basic Corporate Tax knowledge).

• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred).

• Advanced Excel skills and strong interest in process improvement and automation.

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Analytical mindset with a proactive and problem-solving approach.

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.

• Fluent in Spanish and English.
